Cutting, shaping and fitting timber parts in workshops to form structures and fittings, ready for installation.
4411-15 Joiner Skill Level:
An AQF Certificate III or higher qualification is required. Registration or licensing may be required.
4411-15 Joiner Tasks Include:
- assembling prepared timber to form structures and fittings ready to install
- cutting timber joints
- cutting timber to template size and shape
- may be repairing existing fittings
- may be working with plastic laminates, perspex or metals
- may be fitting aluminium window frames, and glaze windows of units for sectional timber buildings
