Installing, modifying, maintaining and repairing complex electronic instruments and control systems which involve a combination of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic principles.
4314-13 Electronic Instrument Tradesperson (Special Class) Skill Level:
An AQF Certificate III or higher qualification is required. Registration or licensing may be required.
4314-13 Electronic Instrument Tradesperson (Special Class) Tasks Include:
- installing, modifying, maintaining and repairing instruments within a complex control system
- commissioning, calibrating, and diagnosing faults in instruments
- servicing and testing equipment on industrial sites
- may be providing technical advice to clients or staff
