3492-15 Dental Technician Skill Level:
An AQF Diploma or higher qualification or at least 3 years relevant experience is required. Sometimes relevant experience is required in addition to the formal qualification. Registration or licensing is required.
3492-15 Dental Technician Tasks Include:
- receiving and interpreting written orders from dentists
- fabricating full and partial dentures
- constructing metal clasps, inlays, bridgework and other aids
- repairing, making additions or relining denture bases
