Organising and controlling the operations of a theatre or cinema.
3399-27 Theatre or Cinema Manager Skill Level:
An AQF Diploma or higher qualification or at least 3 years relevant experience is required. Sometimes relevant experience is required in addition to the formal qualification. Registration or licensing may be required.
3399-27 Theatre or Cinema Manager Tasks Include:
- developing and implementing business plans, budgets, policies and procedures
- researching, selecting and scheduling programs
- arranging promotional displays and advertising
- determining and setting seating prices
- maintaining and monitoring business records and preparing financial statements and reports
- selecting, training and supervising staff
