Organising and controlling the operations of a car rental agency.
3399-19 Car Rental Agency Manager Skill Level:
An AQF Diploma or higher qualification or at least 3 years relevant experience is required. Sometimes relevant experience is required in addition to the formal qualification. Registration or licensing may be required.
3399-19 Car Rental Agency Manager Tasks Include:
- answering rental inquiries, taking bookings and telephone calls
- providing information regarding vehicle type, hire rates and rental regulations
- arranging for vehicles to be delivered to customers
- selecting, training and supervising agency staff
- organising accounts and budgets
- liaising with fleet manager
