3399-15 Betting Agency Branch Manager Skill Level:
An AQF Diploma or higher qualification or at least 3 years relevant experience is required. Sometimes relevant experience is required in addition to the formal qualification. Registration or licensing is required.
3399-15 Betting Agency Branch Manager Tasks Include:
- promoting betting agencies’ services
- monitoring and controlling accounting and the security of cash
- providing reports to bodies such as the TAB and to regulatory authorities
- selecting, trains and supervising betting agency staff
- ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- ensuring equipment is maintained
- receiving over-the-counter bets, entering bets onto computer systems, accepting payments, issuing tickets and change
