Organising and controlling the operations of a railway station.

3399-13 Railway Station Manager Skill Level:
An AQF Diploma or higher qualification or at least 3 years relevant experience is required. Sometimes relevant experience is required in addition to the formal qualification.

3399-13 Railway Station Manager Tasks Include:
  • coordinating activities associated with the arrival, departure, loading and unloading of trains
  • maintaining business records and prepares operational statements and reports
  • selecting, training and supervising railway staff
  • dealing with customer inquiries, providing advice to customers and handling complaints
  • ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
