Entertainment Centre Manager
Planning, promoting and controlling the entertainment activities for amusement centres, showgrounds and theme parks.
3391-15 Amusement Centre Manager Skill Level:
An AQF Diploma or higher qualification or at least 3 years relevant experience is required. Sometimes relevant experience is required in addition to the formal qualification. Registration or licensing may be required.
3391-15 Amusement Centre Manager Tasks Include:
- planning and organising the range and mix of entertainment, attractions or amusement machines
- selecting, training and supervising staff
- monitoring and controlling accounting operations and the security of cash or valuables
- ensuring compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
- overseeing security and ensuring that required standards of behaviour are maintained
- planning and implementing advertising, promotional and development activities
