Financial Risk Manager
Managing corporate funding, liquidity and financial risk associated with the profitable development and operation of a business.
2213-11 Corporate Treasurer Skill Level:
A bachelor degree or higher qualification or at least 5 years relevant experience is required. In some instances relevant experience is required in addition to the formal qualification. Registration or licensing may be required.
2213-11 Corporate Treasurer Tasks Include:
- controlling treasury and treasury systems and the establishment and review of risk management objectives and treasury policies
- developing financial aims and strategies, financial structures, dividend policy, investment appraisals, including acquisition and divestment appraisals
- identifying, managing and reporting on financial risks
- assisting with equity management, debt management, securities and tax planning issues
- may be developing and maintaining cash management systems, managing financial assets, assessing interest rates and liquidity risks
