Directing and managing the professional activities of medical staff in hospitals, health services and health service facilities.
1292-13 Medical Administrator Skill Level:
A bachelor degree or higher qualification, or at least 5 years relevant experience is required. In some instances relevant experience is required in addition to the formal qualification.
1292-13 Medical Administrator Tasks Include:
- managing organisations and departments responsible for health service delivery, within the authority of a chief executive officer, statutory board, area health service or central health authority
